2011. 2011. Italwatt, a privately owned company specializing in the design and production of electronic technologies for land defense vehicles, needed to computerize its operations and chose VM Vision as its IT partner.

VM Vision installed Expresso^® software to manage material acquisition and production development processes.

2021. 2021. Italwatt was acquired by IDV, Iveco Defence Vehicles, a company specializing in the design and production of military and civil defense vehicles, including armored, logistics, and multi-purpose vehicles.

The acquisition by IDV represents significant growth for the company and its transformation from a family-owned business to a competitive player in a broader and more competitive market.

This transition requires a profound structural change to enable the company to operate on the market with processes and operating procedures that meet the requirements of efficiency, reliability, and robustness.

In 2024, the company will therefore embark on a process of internal process change through a major review and update of its management system.

Expresso^®, the heart of the company, is “updated” and implemented to meet the customer’s new needs, increasing the management of material acquisition and production scheduling processes. The upgrade process takes five months to complete, after which VM Vision takes care of system maintenance and continues to meet subsequent specific requests from the company’s users.

Italwatt, a long-standing client of the software house, has changed profoundly following its acquisition by IDV. The evolution of the Expresso^® software has allowed VM Vision, in collaboration with the new company management, to address and enable the process of change and support the company’s growth.

Thanks to its in-depth knowledge and continuous development of its software, VM Vision was able to respond positively and quickly to new business needs.
