Founded in the early 1990s as a family business, HT&L FITTING is now a multinational company with seven plants in seven countries. It is a tier-one tire assembly supplier for the world’s leading automakers, including Stellantis, Audi and Volkswagen, guaranteeing Just-in-Sequence logistics services.
Just-in-Sequence (JIS) is a logistics and production strategy that allows for more accurate synchronization of supplies, avoiding errors, unnecessary movements, and random storage.

The company needed to complement its management software with a system capable of tracking key wheel assembly data to meet customer requests for data traceability for regulatory and safety reasons.

Following a twenty-year relationship with VM Vision, focused on supporting Toshiba’s corporate hardware, HT&L chose the emerging software house to create and install a tracking system.

VM Vision, in collaboration with HT&L, develops and installs the Trace software that enables real-time traceability of product and process data for all the stations that make up the plant.

HT&L was looking for agile, easy-to-use software that could interface with its company management system. VM Vision responded with a custom-built solution that could make the required data accessible in real time.

The collaboration, initially launched as a simple hardware support project, gradually led to the development of the Trace software and its subsequent evolutions. The client expressed complete satisfaction, not only with the high level of technical expertise demonstrated, but also with the quality of the support provided over time. This support, initially provided by Massimo Voto, was subsequently ensured by the team of collaborators who, as the software house grew, have maintained VM Vision’s high standards of one-to-one service.
