Frencia Bruno has been active in the car brake sector as a third party contractor since 1987. The main processes carried out are anti-noise assembly, cup spring assembly, J-clips, pin riveting, drilling, indicator assembly, manual and automatic boxing, in addition to a shipping logistics service for suppliers.

In 2010, the company needed to manage the production and printing of labels. Knowing Massimo Voto as the company’s hardware support manager, Frencia chose the emerging software house to create and install a labeling system.

VM Vision develops, customizes and installs the Expresso Etichettatura^® software which allows the automated management of all labeling and label printing phases.

Based on the results obtained with Expresso Etichettatura^®, Frencia has chosen to adopt the “mother” software Expresso Desktop^® for the management of production control cycles and warehouse location. Since 2011, the software has managed the preparation of the bill of materials, customized customer labeling operations, and the management of the boxing process. The adoption of Expresso^® has supported the company in its technological and digital transformation, in line with the objectives of the Sustainable Investment Plan 4.0.

The collaboration, initially started as simple hardware support, allowed the nascent VM Vision to develop the software that manages all the labeling phases of a company and, subsequently, to integrate it into Expresso Desktop^®. Once again, Massimo Voto’s professionalism and dedication convinced the company to commission him to design a system to computerize their business.
